These tears! Oh they didnt just get here/ born from concern and sustained with fear/ these moist trails of my soul have been here for years/ some sorrow from family and having to rely on peers/ see Ive only seen paradise once on a Florida pier! These tears! Symbols of my ever changing emotions/ they come from joy and disgust and heal like potion/ I wipe them away and they return with steadfast devotion/ a way to soften a hard life like lotion! These tears! Yeah theyre an awesome gift and a curse/ like the piece of candy from your moms purse/ a release from reality a way to disperse/ because everyones soul has to burst/ and then a warm feeling will reimburse! These tears! Man I never thought they would define/ following me through dirt and grime/ through hardships and joyous times/ Ive learned one thing in all of this......that well.....these tears have always been yours and never mine!
