These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33 “I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.” John 17:15 “…yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.” John 16:2 In these passages Jesus clearly says that we will go through tribulation. Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, that ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;” 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 Here the Apostle Paul clearly says that we will be here to see the rise of the Antichrist/first beast. “For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 Here Paul wrote that Jesus will rapture the saints upon His return after He has risen the dead. Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Matthew 24:29-31 “But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.” Mark 13:24-27 In these passages Jesus clearly says that we will be raptured after the moon goes dim, the sun is darkened and the stars fall from heaven. And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. Revelation 6:12-13 Here the Apostle John describes the same event that will happen before the rapture. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come. Joel 2:30-31 Here the same event is described by the prophet Joel more than 900 years before Revelation was written. These parallel passages are the sixth seal, which happen after the first seal is broken and the rider of the white horse rides forth, which represents the rise of the Antichrist whom is recognized by Islamic scholars as the Muslim messiah Al Mahdi. The second seal is the rider of the red horse representing WW3. The third seal is the black horse/global famine and scarcity. The fourth seal, the pale horse/the death of 1/4 of the human race. And the fifth seal, worldwide genocide of Christians and Jews for refusing the mark of the beast. The first 5 seals are described in Revelation 6:1-11 which shall all happen before the Day of the Lord described as the 6th seal in Revelation 6:12-17 which will also precede the rapture of the saints. And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held Revelation 6:9 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Matthew 10:21-22 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. John 16:2 “After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands” Revelation 7:9 “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelation 12:17 “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” Revelation 13:7 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Revelation 20:4 “I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;” Daniel 7:21 “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.” Daniel 7:25 These passages parallel the fifth seal which is the persecution unleashed on the Church before the rapture described in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Matthew 24:31,40-42 Mark 13:27 and Luke 17:34-36, after Satan is cast down from heaven as described in Revelation 12:7-11. According to the Bible all these things will happen before the sixth seal is broken which is the day of the Lord described in Joel 2:28-31, Matthew 24:29-31, Mark 13:24-27 & Luke 21:25-28 Furthermore, the Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:52 that we will be taken up at the last trump. The last trump is found in Revelation 11:15 when the seventh angel sounds his trumpet. Make no mistake, we will be here well into the tribulation. Prepare your mind and spirit and cling to the Lord Jesus Christ. The pre tribulation rapture is an escapist theory devised in the 1830’s by John Nelson Darby, the father of modern dispensationalism. This doctrine gained widespread acceptance after the Oxford University Press published the Schofield Reference Bible later in the 19th Century. In the 1970’s a Don Thompson film called a Thief in the Night gave this theory even more credibility to a modern audience. In 1995 Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins published the first of sixteen books in the Left Behind series. This theory has been instrumental in Satan’s plan to take the Church by surprise in his final persecution and genocide of the saints as described in Revelation 12:7-17 “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” The Bible warns us to beware of the deceptions and traps that Satan has laid for the children of God. “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” Matthew 24:24 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:6 “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” Colossians 2:8 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
