These two are perfectly within their rights not to recite the Pledge, and people that witness them exercising their right accordingly have the right to think theyre assholes. As to the leftist tenant that reciting the pledge is part of a radical Tea Party agenda, theyll have to go back at least five decades, because we said the Pledge every school day of our lives as I grew up. Nobody ever mentioned or considered saying the Pledge to be radical or even controversial. So lets reexamine exactly who the radicals are these days.
