These two little beauties put up with a lot today! We attempted to attend an out of town birthday party and 20 minutes into the trip, B got car sick. Turns out the air vents were closed in the back. Couple that with the string cheese she had right before we left-my car smell is no more. Thankfully I keep an extra set of clothes in the back (which are nothing to look at!) Changed on the side of the road & stopped at Target for a new outfit. Naturally there was nothing there we liked or that was in her size or weather appropriate. Finally find something only to hit the check out at the exact same time as the rest of the store. On the road, close to the deer lease where we are picking up Scooter on the way to the party. 10 minutes out he calls and tells me hes stuck. Like, transmission went out, stuck. Great. Because I opted NOT to get the tow package on this vehicle. Wont make that mistake again. Anyway, after some serious work on his part and that of his winch he was able to get himself out and fix the issue. Head back to the trailer to do some clean up. Weve obviously missed the party and the girls (and me) are so disappointed! They got a bit upset but they were troopers!! We went on a shopping trip to Bucees where they picked out a treat. Not how we planned our day but it was still a great day!! Seriously-our girls rock!!
