These words come from Shirley Ford: We need to win this challenge to the massive illegal subsidy to new nuclear. In the North East we face the threat of a new nuclear station at Hartlepool. What we need is to use energy more efficiently and use less of it, and to put all public support into research and development of a wider range of renewables not nuclear or fossil fuel, so we can develop community level solutions....I totally agree....
