These young men leave their families in the hopes of making a better life for themselves or to follow a dream. They get so immersed in this dream that they forget that there is a whole world of opportunities awaiting them if they were only exposed to them or if they take the chance to look. Hockey People MUST open up their childrens eyes to all that life encompasses and not just Hockey. Stop living your hopes and dream thru your child..at what cost are you willing to keep doing this. AND Hockey Team Reps Must put in place a better program to protect these young men. They themselves need to understand that they are not just dealing with hockey bodies but human beings.
