They Need Your HELP! (share your blessings to others) On Dec. 2, six students in the Tukwila School District lost their mother when she collapsed unexpectedly while cooking dinner. In addition to the shock and devastation of her current family, another life has been profoundly impacted: The mother was six months pregnant, and her baby, who is 2.5 pounds, is now fighting for survival at a local hospital. This is a Burmese refugee family—only nine months in the Tukwila community—who has no money for funeral expenses, not to mention medical expenses or day-to-day finances (food, rent) that will accumulate as the father must shift his focus from his job to his family in the days and months ahead.
