They loved their sons From the moment they opened their eyes Til the day George Zimmerman and Michael Dunn closed them..... I had the unfortunate opportunity to hold the hand of #JordanDaviss mom as she and Jordans dad thanked the supporters rallying for #JusticeForJordan. A group of us gathered together to support the family during the first day of the jury selection process for the re-trial of Michael Dunn for the murder of #JordanDavis. Every second of the pain of living life without her son was etched on Ms McBaths face and evident by the tears in her eyes. I hugged Sybrina Fulton, the mother of #TrayvonMartin as she was there supporting the family as well. #OscarGrants uncle Bobbie spoke with us. The mother of #KendrickJohnson was there in support too.... Along with several other parents of children that have been killed by law enforcement. It was an indescribable moment. The spokesman for Kendrick Johnsons family shared with us that not only were Kendricks organs removed without seeking permission first, but his larynx was removed, his tongue had been cut out, his finger nails had been cut down to the point that they were bruised, the clothes he was wearing that day have yet to be found and were lost by the department; all to hide DNA evidence. The family has not been granted a copy of the videotape from the school either...... Jordans family was even gracious enough to reserve a room in a nearby building and provided us with pastries, juice and water. I pray for an outcome that will allow his family some resemblance of justice. -NS
