They rig a foregone conclusion is by far the best description Ive heard about what the purpose of the Grand Jury is. People need to understand that a Grand Jury is nothing but a rubber stamp for the District Attorney. The DA is the only one who presents evidence in a case and he can steer the case to any conclusion he wants. Why we as a nation tolerate this obvious corruption of the legal system is beyond me.
