They say when one door closes.... Funny story... The last night we were in Venice (and please excuse perceived name dropping - not the intention), P & I got back to the hotel quite late, so we went to the landing dock near the bar. Tempted to go in but thinking of our early start the next day, we opted against it. In our room, thinking the singing from the bar was loud, P closed the door to the terrace. Come the next day, on the Orient Express, we ended up chatting to the CEO of the Belmond Group who own the Cipriani, Orient Express etc. They were in the bar the previous night... And who was singing karaoke? George Clooney :-) P & I smiled :-) Ho hum
