............... They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark16vs18b). When anyone gets sick around us ,we must lay hands on them, so that they will recover, get healed. As simple as this Word is, it has received very few audience some time. Your child, your brother, your mother, dad, sister, your boss anyone who gets sick around you is a candidate you must lay hands on so that they be healed. If anyone or anything around you gets sick, they qualify for you to put your hands on. Dont go with the , old people always face health challenges report. Some would say toddlers are prone to sickness, or there is such and such an out break of disease. One can say, well its in winter so colds are common. Health professionals would say ,such and such sickness can not be cured. When others have health challenges stop forcusing on all these reports. Put your meditation and contemplation on, they shall lay hands on the sick and they recover. Remove your forcus from why and what made and how the person is sick. Zoom your gaze on the classic truth, because m a believer one of the signs that follows me is laying hands on the sick and they recover. At one point the disciples didnt have any success with healing the sick. It was their training and meditation that had kept them there. They saw a blind man one day and they started to argue why he was born blind. To then being blind or being sick was a curse or punishment from God for the sins you or some elder in the family might have done. Now Jesus takes their forcus from all that, he says it was for the glory of God that the man was born blind. They had justifications of why sickness has a right to hit people, thank God they had Jesus. Many do the same in our day, they ascribe sickness to the Will of God. Now Jesus walked this earth healing the sick, when he ascended on high, he instructed us specifically to heal the sick. Now many are comfortable with giving , going to church, singing psalms and hymns, prayer and so many other things, because the bible instructs us to do so. Well let me say in as much as you get to pray because bible says man must always pray, in like manner you are mandated to heal the sick. Dr T l Osborne got to Congo at the pick of the Ibola virus. Now any conduct with an infected person was death for you in a few hours. Now he went in to pray for infected people with no protection. He even told the doctors to run some test on him, put the virus on his skin. As soon as the virus was in conduct with his body, it died. They asked him why, his answer was , they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. I hate sickness, its a thief, a breeder of debt, enemy of progress. And i love the Lord Jesus, because himself took our infirmities and bared our sickness and by His stripes we are healed and we heal others.
