They started Alex on solid food last night. Solid in name only. Everything is finely ground. Her breakfast this morning was sausage, eggs, grits, and a bananna. She ate a little bit of everything, and washed it down with milk and orange juice. Theyre working on finding a spot for her at the Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital for inpatient physical therapy. You can see in the video how weak she is after 5 days of seizures. Apparently I wasnt feeding her fast enough so she grabbed the fork and tried to feed herself. :) And no, I didnt let her eat that huge chunk of sausage she went after.
