This is not rude. This is how things get done. In fancy language, people call this monitoring and advocacy. In plain talk: If we shut up and wait for what is promised, we will be waiting forever. We have already politely waited for 60 years. We cannot trust that they will ever serve our interests just because they are nice and they feel like it. We cannot trust that whatever channels for communication that they plan to make will actually be created or used. It is so Korean to set up structures and then not use them. Its just for show. We cannot trust that these people will ever take us seriously unless they are a bit afraid of our sheer numbers and our ability to work it internationally (which is scary to them because we are better at that than they are). We are just expendable orphans to them. What is an orphan? An orphan is someone at the bottom of society who costs money to upkeep, who no one wants to marry because who knows what monster genes you got in you, and blah blah blah. That is why we are so lucky to have gone to nice Westerners who supposedly have no prejudice. Dont let yourself be fooled. Keep the pressure on.
