They sure didnt do well in LA last time. LA has a site at the old Hollywood Park race track, but the city wouldnt let them move there, as the teams gang identity would bring a whole other element into a part of the city which doesnt have that problem now. Add to that the fact that NFL tickets are so expensive that people who can afford them dont like to go to the Coliseum, which is in a very rough part of town. This is why they were only drawing 30,000 to 40,000 fans (in a 100,000 seat stadium) when they were down there last time. I know many football fans here in the East Bay who wont go to Raider games because of their gang identity problem. Sports fans act too crazy these days. Al Davis shot himself in the foot when he went there last time. He had a core base of blue collar fans who didnt act nearly as crazy as the ones they have now, and sellouts every game... Too bad...
