Theyre not really expecting much and rightly so cause US diplomacy about Myanmars transition has been very much lip service so far. As if blacklisting one prominent crony (Aung Thaung) without sanctioning his sons who actually own and run most of the family business would have any effect on the Burmese government! US is definitely putting friendship with the Burmese government before defense of human rights for the population. That is no surprise given US track record who ever has been president and whats at stake in the soft confrontation with China in the area.
