Theyre sending me home!!!!!!! My contractions have slowed enough that I can go home! They are noticeable still, but not as intense. If they start back up again in a couple days (which they might. Theres no real way to actually stop labor they can just slow it down if its the real deal) NICU came in and told me at this point they cant do anything for the baby if hes born he will die and they wont try to save him because itll be out of their hands. In my heart I feel like this isnt going to happen. I feel a great sense of peace in my heart. I feel like God stopped this labor because the timing isnt perfect right now. The medication they put me on has my blood pressure so low they cant give me anything else for my contractions anyway. I go to Illini tomorrow for my second steroid shot and to be monitored some. My cervix hasnt progressed at all since 5am--praise Jesus! Thank you for your prayers. Continuing to pray that my contractions stay minimal and painless and baby can live happily and comfortably inside of me for a couple more months until he has a fighting chance out of the womb. This is Gods work! I cant wait to lay in my own bed and be unhooked from all these wires. The amazing support system we have is absolutely overwhelming, you all are wonderful and Ill be sure to thank God for every single one of you tonight.
