Theyre teenagers, and theyre behavior has been closely scrutinized for 6 years. While all US presidents face a fair amount of criticism, President Obama has been vilified for opposing dearly held but demonstrably failed conservative policies, for his flagship legislation, the Affordable Care Act, which curtails the massive, exploitative profits that the insurance companies had been raking in, and for the simple fact that he is not an old white man. For Sasha and Malia to be less than thrilled when facing a media that has been largely hostile to their family, and to show it, is completely unsurprising, and not even inappropriate for teenagers.
