Things I learned at the town hall meeting: -MTA brass are very good at reading from powerpoint slides. -They are not so good at answering drilled down question such as What are the controls in place to ensure buses run every 5 minutes? -They dont respond well to snarky comments from me such as Its not a FREE shuttle bus, everyone in here gives the MTA a lot of money every month. -Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer and State Senator Michael Gianaris gave some serious smackdown to the MTA. Frankly, I doubt your credibility AND your ability to collect data. -Queens residents are much more attractive than one might think.
