Things Ive learned in washington:) Dont try to walk in wedge shoes or cute sandals..even if they are cute..dont check on a man passed out on a curb, just not good ...dont volunteer to hang with 20 teens with seizures in the pool...if you buy a sweatshirt from a street vendor for $10, odds are it will fall apart within minutes...dont bring your 8 year old to the museum of art, the naked sculptures will most likely freak her out...after walking 30 miles, your better off getting a segway..(cost doesnt matter at this point)..if you ride the subway. Bring germex:) and when walking in the constitutional gardens watch for horse poop...it doesnt come off the cute sandals easily...:) also, unlike TN if it calls for snow, it really happens:) love family vacations:)
