Things I’ve learned in London: • They heat their plates in the oven before eating • They drive manual, rarely have automatic cars • When you have a baby, you can take up to 12 months off • You pay extra if you want to use a credit card • Light switches are normally outside the room • All outlets have their own switch next to it • Foxes walk around as if they’re dogs and it doesn’t bother anyone • Eggs aren’t refrigerated • They use the word “pudding” for desert, but they do not know what our pudding is • They use the word “toilet” for bathroom • They use the word “holiday” for vacation • Biscuits mean cookies • Cheers means thank you • Bath tubs have 4 knobs, 2 for bath and 2 for shower • Yellow traffic lights come after a red light, not before a green light • You have to press a button to exit most doors
