Things Wes Anderson and I have in common: 1. We have both been photographed by the same person persocophoto (but the photographer is my best friend, so i think that give me the leg up . . . just sayin) 2. We are both big fans of David Bowie and Bill Murray (he probably knows both of them, so he gets the leg up here). 3. We have both been to Budapest. He has made a movie about a hotel in the city, and I played there once (and stayed at a hotel in the city). But he actually shot the movie in Berlin, and I made most the music played in this set in Berlin. However, the live recording of that set is coming out before that movie (point: me) 4. We both like to make lists. (tie) 5. I have watched Bottle Rocket and The Life Aquatic more times than i care to admit, and he most certainly doesnt have a clue who i am (point: Anderson). All and all, thats lookin pretty even stephen aside from bank account comparisons. So heres that live set! Mind you, it was the first performance of it prior to a long summer, so its a bit shakey in parts . . . mainly when i am yelling in the mic and playing the wrong notes on the guitar. But its the first recording of a live set since the one i did for w+l ages ago!
