Things fall apart and centre cannot hold--Whose line it was, now I - TopicsExpress

Things fall apart and centre cannot hold--Whose line it was, now I cannot remember. But it is so appropriate in the case of current Indian reality. Our politics is increasingly becoming divisive just for the sake of vote. If India is not strengthened with a sense of the union of the people, if every single Indian does not have this sense that are Indian in their heart, this strength will not be attained. Prior to seventies our national leaders were very much concerned about this and they were accommodative and always reminded us that our is a composite culture. They recognised everyone and hence this helped to developed a feeling that unity in diversity is the basic characteristic of our culture as well as our Nation. Our present leaders lack patriotism and the greater national interest is not in their mind. Their motive is confined only to power and for them nothing is unfair in politics, and so is their political discourses. They refer history, mostly with distortion, which suit their narrow goal but ignore the other side of it. Where are they taking us? Let us react against it for the sake of our Nation and for ourselves.
