Things go wrong in this world all the time. This is why this place is known as the material world. If things went right here all the time, this would be the spiritual world, not the material world. We can, however, by an adjustment of our consciousness always live in the spiritual world even though we are still physically situated in the material world. That adjustment is that we have to see everything, and I am mean absolutely everything, as the special mercy of Krishna or God upon us to help us purify our consciousness so we can return to Him as soon as possible. If we see everything in this light, we will always feel blissful even though facing sometimes the most difficult, devastating calamities.
