Think FB is trying to tell me my pony is at sales, not listening, blocks ears, la la la. First pintos go up, then someone shows more photos of horses going under the hammer then Black Beauty brings up memories and I didnt even watch the thing then a photo of clydies goes up on my feed who are also going under the hammer. Gah, not listening. The thing is also watching videos last night makes me so angry seeing people, often unknowingly, abuse horses for personal gain. Ok Im far from perfect and sit like a sack of off potatoes and dont have enough contact and things go wrong with my horses, but I am open to learn how to be kind and ride ethically without pressure on the horse but with direction, but I know I could do a better job than half these ego filled, wack pot, cruel idiots and the videos open up my protective nature and I just want to buy the biggest bloody land in the middle of nowhere and save them all. But Im not super horse lady and as much as it hurts Ive had to walk away from starving, jammed up, lame and sad horses because they wont suit what we do and I just cannot afford to be the hero. I dont have the room or funds to start jumping on the rescue bandwagon. I wont follow in the footsteps of collectors who think they are saving horses then cant feed them and they are worse off than if they had been killed for meat. So, no Facebook Im not listening! Yes, if my situation was different and I was buying for just me Id consider it but its not and Im realistic. Peter Byrne u should be proud ha ha.
