Think of this...When Medicare was established in 1965 the average age of death was 67..So the average US Citizen only had two years under Medicare...Today the average age of death is 78.5....Huge difference in the number of years the average US Citizen is covered by Medicare...2 vs 13.5 years...It is no secret that we must change our policies as the demographics of our socitety change dramatically.
