Thinking about Isa 40:12 This morning Im in wild and wonderful - TopicsExpress

Thinking about Isa 40:12 This morning Im in wild and wonderful West Virginia. Im staying with my daughter Lynnette and son Mike. I would only use the in-law part if he were a potential outlaw. But He is a son in the faith and a good servant as well as good husband. It has been great to catch up with our daughters in person. Melissa is doing a great work at Greater Beckley Christian School in Beckley. To listen to them all talk ministry is one of my greatest joys. It has also got me thinking about God as our Father. How it must please God to hear his children glorify the family name in various places. Im so glad the kids learned despite Paula and I making multiple mistakes a true love for God. They love The Lord for Who He is rather than for just what they get. It is a major graduation day when we all come to really know God our Father as more than a meal ticket or a latter on which to leave a burning building. There is nothing that beats knowing God Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance (Isaiah 40:12 KJV). Trusting your family to His care is the only way to really enjoy the kids. Though half the family is in Great Falls and the other here it is great to know there is no distance to great or trial so large that we are ever separated from the love of the Father.
