Thinking back to some of my favorite Wilmington convenience stores- FAST FARE, 7-ELEVEN, and of course,my personal favorite-ZIP MART! :)..There was one of those stores everywhere you looked.I could always go into a Zip Mart,play the pinball machine( ahhh,nothing like a pinball machine :) ),buy my comic books,and get a Marathon candy bar-anyone remember those candy bars?...My Zip Mart was on S.College Rd,behind the Wachovia bank,in front of College Manor,across from UNCW! :)...Remember the Fast Fare on College Rd,in front of Kings Grant? :)..The 7-11 on College Rd,beside Merritts,in front of Hugh McRae Park?..The Zip Mart on Masonboro Loop Rd?..So many other locations of those wonderful stores!...Enjoy your trip down convenience store memory lane! :)
