Thinking of a research - A study to assess what people think is important to be successful in their chosen field of work. The basic observation of people across industry and even in social life reveals that many youngsters think that the only way to climb the ladder in an organization is to please the boss. Performance comes later or sometimes never matters. Be it a industry, politics or any field, you could hear people whisper about this very often. I do not know whether to blame these people for their opinion and behavior or is it the leadership to be blamed for their thinking. Does it have roots in the history? Especially political class created the culture of sycophancy. May be from politics, it has penetrated in other fields. This is culture is dangerous and will never create leaders who can be a catalyst for change.
