Thinking of him It was only in dream space that they would meet as distance was minimised with thoughts driving the desire swiftly ...delivering the longing with the intensity felt almost intact... She knew that he would not admit how unhappy he was being away from her in so many words as he wished to show her how strong a man he was handling his emotions in the misconceived form of responsibility...but thoughts she knew are good company and dreaming travels them fast. When she closed her eyes entering the trance of sleep and sobriety she became a water lily ...her head lied on the pillow of the wide leaf floating almost rootless on the still, dark waters of oblivion seeking to stir memories and extract them in the process of ranking them according to the intensity of feeling sensed when they were experienced... The lily caressed her cheek affirming the safety of the thought transition that butterflies had undertaken to monitor...every one of them was a thought and a wish...bringing her near him making him feel that he is not that far away when he opens up and shares feelings as water lilies do on the glimmering surface of the see through waters of trust and acceptance...
