Thinking of joining –Kildare Water Safety Lifesaving Outdoor Training? 05 Jun 2013 Thinking of joining –Kildare Water Safety Lifesaving Outdoor Training? Well here’s what you need to do; Starts Thursday June 6th 2013 A.Be age 7 on the day you plan to join us and be able to swim 150m. Have a spirit of adventure! B.Become a member of Irish Water Safety by logging onto iwsmembership.ie and completing the application process as a “Competitor”.... or if you’re coaching or helping out join as a “Member” ... C.IWS membership costs €10 annually paid locally. D.Complete your club membership form at your first session and pay your season fee (2013) of €50 per person. E.Gets your gear together, swimming gear, wetsuit, old runners, sun cream, insect repellent! F.Water based Training Venue: Kildare Water Safety @Blessington Lakes (located beside Blessington Sailing Club) Activities: Open Water events Time: Thursdays 7.30-8.30pm Juniors (7- 13 years) & 8.00 to 9.15pm Senior s (14years +) Weekend sessions too –dates will be announced on kildarewatersafety.ie Requirements swimming gear, wetsuit, old runners, sun cream, insect repellent,snacks & bottle of water. Directions to Kildare Water Safety @ Blessington Lakes: Head south from Blessington village, straight through roundabout. Take left turn for Valleymount at Pitch & Putt course. Cross bridge,. Approx 2 miles from main road - Cul de Sac on left leads to Club, just after a white wash building with a green roof on right hand side.
