Thinking of our Joe today as we go through life. Not a day goes by where the boys dont mention their daddy and how much they miss him. We all miss him. His passion for life! Today Shane talked about how daddy would be so proud of his skateboarding and Gabes baseball. Just a reminder for all of us to never ever take the little things for granted. As I sat at Gabes baseball practice tonight I looked around at all the dads cheering, smiling, clapping for their young men and realized Joe will never do that again for Gabe. An awful illness took a great life. I told the boys its ok to be sad about missing daddy. I love that we talk about it, cry and move forward. The journey of grief is truly an adventure!
