Thinking that the present government is using the previous government´s methods and seeing how the Gezi Park demonstrators are made look like terrorists by officials and some media by twisting the truth and not showing all the facts, makes me wonder even more. Thinking of the past 10-20 years where there was no social media & video, really gives me goose bumps trying to imagine what news was "fed to the turkish public" and all the thinks they don´t know about the events in the southeast of Turkey. It was much bloodier back than! At Gezi lots of videos have been taken with mobil phones and spread via social media. All that did not exist 10 years ago... Journalists did heard and saw many scary stories, but many times it was impossible to check if it was the truth or propaganda on both sides... The free internet is a must for a real democracy - even will all the risks it bares its a must. iyiki varsin.
