Little wonder he faired excellently in every field and assignment he has been involved in over the years in silent but yet impactful ways. Born in the quiet hills of Foron in Barkin- Ladi LGA of Plateau state on September 2, 1954, he was named Christopher Gyang Bulus Bature. He started his primary education in Kuru and later Foron where he obtained his First School Leaving certificate in 1967. He rose from an Industrial Officer in the Plateau State Ministry of Commerce & Industry in 1979 to being a seasoned Federal Public Servant with over thirty (30) years experience. He has distinguished himself as a diligent, honest and disciplined Bureaucrat rising from an Operations Officer to the post of Assistant General Manager in 2000 and retiring as a General Manager in the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) fourteen (14) years later. During those years, He was actively involved in the technical and strategic transformation and development of the Aviation sector in Nigeria. At a point in his career, he doubled as General Manager of Airport Services nationwide in Lagos and Regional Manager North Central of FAAN, Abuja, a task given to him by the authorities in recognition for his dedication to duty, positive attitude, technical knowledge and tenacity. As a seasoned technocrat who believes in the socio-economic development of the country at large, it is on record that he was instrumental in establishment, growth and sustenance of domestic flights in northern states like Gombe, Bauchi, Minna airports etc. He was recommended by the Auditor General of Federation (OAGF) for special commendation for the prudent use of Public funds and resources.
