Third film a day in September : The Butler. Did not like it. The direction needed some subtle touches. This film did not have much that was subtle about it. Stunt casting the presidents was sometime enjoyable, other times very annoying. And it always seemed like the son of the lead character was involved with the civil rights movements greatest hits, although I thought it showed great restraint that they did not show Malcolm X. It kinda reminded me of a Forest Gump remake. Also the age make up was great except for the old age make up in the banquet scene for Lenny Kravis and Cuba Gooding Jr. Bad lighting but the director tried to hide it with quick cuts. Forest Whitaker did a good job and his make up perfect throughout. I would also like to point out he showed me a great deal about preparing the perfect cup of tea.
