Third senior Navy official arrested in bribery, prostitution scandal! Dont you love the Navy! Lets see, they had that Tailhook Scandal some years ago. Not bad, boys will be boys. Wait, I cant say that because it isnt PC, right? Oh yeah, then there was the gun mount on the U.S.S. Iowa (now in Long Beach) which the Navy without any grounds blamed some poor enlisted guy as being gay and suicidal. Later the poor dead guy was totally exonerated. Having been in the Coast Guard and worked for the U.S. Army, you know why I cheer so loudly for Army at the Army-Navy games. And for you people who have heard that the Coast Guard is just a shallow water navy, it was Coast Guard cutters that manned all the ocean stations in the middle of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. I was on a 311 foot cutter and never once did we use a tugboat to dock or moor. We enjoyed watching comparable size Navy ships come into port with a couple of tugs guiding them. One last thing, for you ocean going fisherman and yachtmen, who do you call when you get in trouble. Hint, it aint Ghostbusters.
