Thirsty Souls... On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” - Jn 7:37-38 No matter how great your religious festival, activities, sacrament, program, service, crusade, seminar, camp etc it cannot quench the thirsty of your soul. They psalmist recognized how important it is to quench the thirsty of his soul and knowing the only One Who can satisfy it that he cried, As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? (Psalms 42:1-2 NKJV) • Many souls are dried up, dehydrated by doctrines of their church, teachings of men and demons. The more thirsty their souls become the more they go to mountains and temples in search of satisfaction but its not found there. The psalmist also one time gave up such search and cried, I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalms 121:1-2 NKJV) > The help our soul need is not found in any religion but in God. Without Thalia help for our soul we will all perish in hell fire, but God saw that we are helpless despite our religious activities and sacrifices then He came for our rescue; For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 NKJV) • Yes, God sent His Son to quench the thirsty of our soul. And when the Son of God came He met a woman who was soul dehydrated and said to her; If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” (John 4:10 NKJV) > Also On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice to the crowd of religious Jews, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” - Jn 7:37-38 • The reason you see different kinds of religion in the world and crowd of wretched souls flocking together in them, be it Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Atheism, Tradition etc, it is because they are in search of their soul satisfaction. They tolerate false leaders because they think offending them will cost them their religious soul/spiritual satisfaction. > But there is only One Who can satisfy the longing of our soul, and that One is Jesus Christ the Son of God in Whom God is well pleased; in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge...For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. (Colossians 2:3,9 NKJV) • Religion under the influence of satan is the thief that does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy your soul. But Jesus has come that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly (John 10:10). > Religion also blindfold those that embrace it even the most educated are enslaved by it; For the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message of the cross preached to save those who believe. (I Corinthians 1:21) • Its through faith that we drink from the well/river Jesus the fountain of life; For with Jesus is the fountain of life; In His light we see light. The words of Jesus is a fountain of life, To turn us away from the snares of death. (Psa 36:9. Prov 13:14; 14:27) > And He(Jesus) said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. (Revelation 21:6 NKJV) + Are you willing to come drink freely of Jesus by faith and experience the rivers of living water flowing from within you? > He is calling you to leave your church and religious festivals to come and be satisfied. He says, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts...Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” + By the reason of the Anointing upon me, I break every hold over your soul and release you to come to Jesus now; And my God will satisfy you early with His mercy and grace, that you may rejoice and be glad in the Lord all your days in Jesus Name! (Psa 90:14) Your Soul Shall Not Perish! - Job 33:18.
