Thirty-One consultant friends out there... I have a good friend who started selling these, and she held a party from her office to benefit the school Ellie attends (my friend is the principal), so I decided to get a couple of small items to support her efforts. I am on a VERY limited income as a graduate student, so I only ordered a small Keep it Caddy to use for snacks in Ellies cubby instead of having them crammed into Publix bags, and a thermal wine bag for when I take a cold bottle to a party or something. The total for both before any taxes was $40, so I figured if it was the higher tax in the area, it would be 7% which is $42.80, but when she sent me the final tally, it was $62! I guess personalization is NOT included (which is not mentioned on either of the pages I ordered from so I had no idea it was extra!). I thought the whole point of this merchandise was to have it personalized, so they should have 2 prices for each item showing the difference in cost between personalizing and not to make it clear. But even with the 5 letters of Ellies name and 3 initials of mine, it seems really steep to me... I am sure what she sent me is correct, but is this normal or did I order during a really bad month to participate?
