This Boeing aircraft is manuevred by fly by wire with mechanical control backup and emergency power by means of RAT in case of engine failures. Something drastic may have happened. Something so sudden that the captain had no time to react. The plane is made mostly of compostite material, the end result may be quite bad if on fire. Lets pray that there was no explosion and the pilots were able to bring the aircraft to land safely on the water.....
