This Christmas please think about the blue collar family who just had to relocate their business for a couple of years, so that they could comply with government regulations. If moving and worrying about paying taxes to said government werent enough, they arrived in town and all the housing is maxed out. Hotels have been booked for weeks! On top of all of this, shes in labor, giving birth in a garage (the only place to bunk) and the baby isnt even his! Of course, Im talking about the first Christmas. Its just a good reminder that stress didnt stop because the King of all Kings was born. Just remember that while you are asking yourself why you cant find a still moment to worship. If the first Christmas wasnt stress-free, yours likely wont be either. But even in the midst of all that chaos the Lord provides a humble space to praise and ponder the birth of He Who would redeem this fallen and chaotic world. Merry Christmas!
