This December will mark the third consecutive year I eschew consumer-driven traditional gift giving for the holidays. It makes me immeasurably happier not worrying about supplying loved ones who have everything with things they dont need or might not even want. I respect other peoples adherance to whatever holiday traditions suit their fancy, but any gift presented to me will be kindly accepted and promptly donated to someone less fortunate with a real use for the material, especially during the winter season. I love phone calls, texts, private messages and most of all, an excuse to grab a beer. Happy holidays!
