This FIFA ban on Luis Suarez is so hush and unfair. 3 games - TopicsExpress

This FIFA ban on Luis Suarez is so hush and unfair. 3 games suspension would have been better. While such behaviour should be condemned at all costs, I think FIFA got too emotional and played the man instead of the ball. Over the years we have seen reckless, career-threatening or in some cases career-ending tackles, but perpetrators just got away with a slight slap on the wrist- while victims careers are gone. The strongest punishment for such tackles, a red card and extra games out. Is it enough? If you put it with the biting incident and all these career-ending or reckless tackles on the scale, which one carries more weight and deserves a stronger punishment? For years, world football has been engulfed by racism- yet FIFAs response on the matter has been consistently shocking. Racism does not threaten their flourishing business so far- hence soft approach to this matter. FIFA is not a saint itself and are worse than Suarez. I believe that FIFA responded to the bloody noise coming out of the UK when dealing with this matter. Luis Suarez and Uruguay FA should fight this till the end. Just a laymans view
