This Fall I have a few openings that Id like to fill with home schooling kids. What I am offering is the following. The student (or pair of students to cut costs) pick two topics from the below: elementary or middle school math, writing (creative or essay), American Tort Law (to help with critical thinking), debate, American History, World History, current events (critical thinking); psychology, research paper writing, Intro and Intermediate (but not advanced) GED Reading and Analyzing Literature (in essay form) The cost for each session is $50, but if two students take the course, that price does not change, so the cost would cut in half. The goal is, within a 2-3 session structure, is to cover TWO courses. My focus is on helping students learn how they learn. I work on study skills and communicating the effort level needed to excel in academics (like soccer or video games! LOL). I work with kids to help them make friends with academics. The real goal is that, after the course of the year (some students stay 2 or 3) that the students will be much, much stronger learners, writers thinkers. Etc.
