This July, journey to the Congo (Brazzaville), the birthplace of Soukous and the heartbeat of Africa with Willy Loketo Show! For10 days, voyagers will be immersed in both traditional and modern movement & music of Congo. An artistic staff consisting of the trips host, Willy Loketo, and 8 of Brazzavilles foremost master artists will lead daily classes. Participants in this intensive will learn dance, song, percussion, as well as sharpen their technique and understanding of Congolese art forms. Accommodations for this trip include lodging at Hotel Paradis with standard amenities and fresh food prepared 3-times a day by expert local chef. The 10-day voyage culminates in a performance on July 27th at the centenarian celebration of Tata Koubemba, esteemed spiritual leader and Willy Loketos grandfather.
