This Mondays Board Game getting featured is King of Tokyo, a fast paced and easy game for 2-6 players. In this competitive board game, you control a gigantic monster or kaiju for fans of the Japannese genre. Examples of monsters you can choose are the King Kong and Godzilla wannabes, or maybe a deep sea monster, or a giant robot controlled by a psychotic bunny. The players have the same starting stats, 10 health, and zero victory points, and your job is to either defeat all other monsters by driving their health to zero, or be the first to get their monster to 20 victory points. This is accomplished by the dice, 6 in total, that can either earn you victory points, heal damage, cause damage, or earn energy. Earning energy, allows you to exchange them for power ups that will strengthen your monster in battle, where even a little advantage can be the difference between winning and losing.
