This Morning Is Difficult - just dont know what to do? My wife Mel-Masterpiece Dixon is not doing so great and I feel helpless. I want to feel like Im doing something to ensure she is feeling good. When you are sick, do you leave the person alone? Not talk too much because of her head? Do I just wait for her to ask? And to think I want to be a Nurse - A Caretaker for the Elderly and Hospice? Maybe I need to re-think my career goal? Just feeling not useful or not understanding my purpose as a wife right now. I thought I knew you care and pamper and just be by their side, wait on them hand and foot; but this is my first real marriage and I feel I dont have a clue! I know one thing I am doing is praying. Praying for Healing and for a quicker appointment with a Neurologist so we can see whats going on in her head. I know God knows whats going on with her and he will see her through this, I just want to do all I can for my wife and Im feeling Helpless.
