This Poop Francis in Rome gives me a dilema, but one that I find very interesting and has my full attention. On the one hand Im disgusted with the continued failure of the Vatican to kick out all known reported pedophile priests so they will no longer have the church shield keeping them safe from criminal prosecution. Yet on the other I see him speak out to leaders to let the wealth spread to the poor and hes speaking out about greed with big business. Being the figurehead of a multi billion dollar a year business himself in the guise of a god makes him look like the worlds biggest hypocrite. However Im more interested in the impact its going to make on the religious Republican and Tea Party elected officials in Washington. This will show their true colors exposing their motives to their voter base. If they continue their policy of being the defenders of corporate greed as they are, I want to see how the voter base reacts now seeing them go directly against their popes urging to regress with this greed. This may be the thing needed to draw that line hard enough in the sand showing the voter base just how much they are being decieved by their party leaders that are using theirgod to simply benefit only the mega-wealthy. This can also have another affect that can seriously damage what little credibility the religious voter base will be able to keep if they still support their Republican policy of greed going against their popes wishes. This would show how they wont even follow their religions head leader speaking out in this jesus word on wealth and greed being bad and will expose the religious voter as being even more of a hypocrite in a new area. Im not sure their religion can survive an important blow like that on all fronts. Their credibility in just their god and jesus is shaky to nonexistant, a wedge driven now between choosing wealth over their jesus word will bury them finally, and even the most sympathetic supporter will have no choice but to abandon the Republican and Tea Party. The variables on both sides will have a serious impact in crushing either a political partys or a religions influence and leverage. This poop Francis has put a fork in the road...one path leads to their jesus and the other leads to greed. Yes Im going to pay close attention to how all this plays out and who takes which path. Long ago it was issues such as this that took one Jewish Abramic religion and splintered it off into two other religions with opposing views on philosophy which wealth was an issue. The two offshoots we call Christian and Islamic. I bet you didnt know that did you. This socialist jesus savior created all the fuss way back then when Introduced after the original Joseph messiah in the old testament dissapeared in the new testament. Followers took sides and the shit hit the fan, it may again now for the church and the Republican party Itself with their religious voters turning on them if they choose to follow their Pope.
