This Ray Rice stuff is a trip let me say this a battered woman is a woman who is beaten by a man or other person and is being abused. In todays world women need to remember a man never had right to hit her. But I was raised by a man n woman who always told me dont stand up and swing on a man unless you plan on getting knocked down by one. The man has no right to be in a position to be a role model to our children and this woman has no right to be in a position to have the sympathy of the public .. Couples that find physical violence as a source of communication need to both be publicly shut down. This behavior is becoming acceptable in todays society. Along with every other bad habit that has been picked up along the way. The longer we over pay these athletes and hold them in a light that they makes them think this behavior is acceptable the longer this will go on. To play a sport on that level means you were given a GOD given talent that many do not have ... when you act in that manner in public you lose the right to be able to be paid for that gift. And as for the woman who married this man. You take the entire female race and make us look weak and stupid by backing the man who did that to you. But then again if you kept your hands to your self that day you leave us to wonder ... would that have happened to you at all. NO CLASS on your part and to him ... Any gifts god gives you can be taken away! and should be if you chose to have behavior of an animal. Just my opinion.
