This SATURDAY is our SHUTOUT DIABETES game that is being put together by Charles Towne. The #5 ranked NCCC Panthers will host the Cowley County Tigers this Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Hudson Field. Game time is set for 1:00pm with special pre-game activities beginning at 12:50. Ashley Clinic will have nurses at the game to offer fans glucose level tests and blood pressure tests. THESE TESTS ARE FREE. The medical professionals will be available to visit with fans concerning their test results and how to reduce the chances of acquiring and adverse consequences of the disease. Between games of the doubleheader, Gabe a diabetes service dog will be introduced and will demonstrate how he works to protect his owner. Information will be available for how to obtain a service dog and how to sponsor a service dog for those who are in need. PLEASE come out and get yourself tested and enjoy a great couple of games too.
