(English Translation/paraphrasing by Aquila) ہم اپنی زندگی کے لیے شکر گزار ہیں اپنی زندگی کے لیے ہم ایک قتل کے شکر گزار ہیں جسے موخر کر دیا گیا ورنہ ایک محبت تھی جو ہم نے دل میں چھپا کر رکھی ہوءی تھی اور ایک نفرت تھی جس کا پتا ہم کسی کو نہیں لگنے دیتے تھے ورنہ ہم نے وہی قصور کیے تھے جو مارے جانے والوں نے کیے تھے ورنہ ہمارے باپوں نے ہمارے مارے جانے کی وجہ ہمارے برتھ سرٹیفیکیٹ میں درج کرا دی تھی اپنی زندگی کے لیے ہم ایک قتل کے شکر گزار ہیں جسے موخر کر دیا گیا ورنہ ہمیں صرف ایک خودکشی کا ممنون رہنا پڑتا جو ہم نے ملتوی کر رکھی تھی Gratitude for Life For our life we are grateful to a murder that was postponed Even though there was a love that we kept hidden in our heart And there was a hate that we did not let anyone know of Even though we had committed the same misdeeds as those who were murdered had Even though our fathers had noted the reason for our murder on our birth certificates So for our life we remain thankful to a murder that was postponed else we would be beholden to a suicide that we had kept in abeyance
