Looking beyond Sunday: MLK Day Events: January 20th- 10:00am-12:00pm – GROW Workshops (Grief Recovery and Other Workshops) at the Crawford County Courthouse - Many of us who read THE NEW JIM CROW together are planning to attend the workshops about racism, oppression, and contributing to healing and recovery in Crawford County. Please join us! 6:00pm-8:00pm – MLK Dinner at St.Brigid’s, sponsored by United Faith Fellowship of God. The keynote speaker is John Christie-Searles, administrator and lecturer at Allegheny College. Mr. Christie-Searles was born and raised in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago having attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology, The John Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (MA), University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School (MBA), and the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (MID).
